Our journey of 7,000 miles to Buenos Aires to rendezvous with the ship that will take us to Cape Horn and beyond began in a sunny Manchester with a change of planes at rainy London Heathrow. The late evening departure gave us a dining and aeroplane watching opportunity from our restaurant table.
